EmpkinS scientists represented in the Highly Cited Researcher List 2021
Four FAU scientists are among the most cited researchers in their field. This emerges from the “Highly Cited Researcher List 2021” that has now been published. The ranking lists 2085 of the most influential researchers worldwide – 328 scientists from Germany are represented. The company Clarivate Analytics, which publishes the list, evaluates work that is frequently cited by other scientists and which is below the top 1 percent according to citations for research field and year on the Web of Science – a portal that bundles various citation and literature databases .
At FAU, four researchers made it onto the list in their subject:
o Prof. Dr. Georg Schett, Chair of Internal Medicine III
o Prof. Dr. Robert Schober, Chair of Digital Transmission
o Prof. Dr. Christoph J. Brabec, Chair of Materials Science (Materials in Electronics and Energy Technology)
o Prof. Dr. Markus F. Neurath, Chair of Internal Medicine I
