Prof. Björn Eskofier is “Inspiration for Founders” – Unipreneurs Prize
FAU Prof. Björn Eskofier, Chair of Machine Learning and Data Analytics, has now been honored as a “role model and inspiration for entrepreneurs” by the Unipreneurs initiative under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Research and the Federal Ministry of Economics.
About the commendation
The Unipreneurs initiative aims to identify and recognize university professors who, in addition to their research and teaching, place a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer and serve as role models and inspiration for entrepreneurs at their university. This is intends to strengthen startups originating from universities.
At the award ceremony in Berlin, 20 university professors were awarded from a pool of approximately 700 nominations.
