[empkins-members] EmpkinS video project 2.0

Dear all,

Hollywood is calling again! EmpkinS is getting a new promotional video.

Briefly for all those who are new to the project:
About 2 years ago, the subproject videos and the corresponding pilot film were created, which you can find on our Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWSqLJz7L5U-ox_H36WyRuQ).
The company Father&Sun (https://www.father-sun.com/) produced the videos under the direction of Marcel Hoffmann (associated doctoral candidate in A02) at a friendship price.

This combo has proven its worth and this time Marcel is once again taking on the role of mediator between science and the red carpet.
The aim is to generate a promotional video that we can use for the external presentation of the CRC, e.g. at conferences, as well as for the DFG on-site review for the 2nd funding period.

Some of the material already exists from the "old" videos and from the recordings recently made at the Faculty of Engineering.
In order to keep the budget as low as possible, missing scenes will be filmed on only two days and at only one location. Therefore: please save the date:
Time: March 18 and 19, 2024
Location: EmpkinSLab, Carl-Thiersch-Straße, Erlangen

Here is some more information:
•••••••• On the 18th, the plan is to film a large group in the seminar room with the speakers
•••••••• If you can, please keep 18.3. free.
•••••••• On 19.3. recordings of individual or small teams with current measurement technology will follow. The relevant scientists will be contacted as soon as possible
•••••••• Don't worry, this time nobody has to think up and recite long texts. Hardly any audio recordings will be made
•••••••• It is not necessary for our colleagues from Hamburg, Munich and Bonn to come to Erlangen just for this reason. You are of course welcome to do so anyway and perhaps this can then be used for subsequent GAP meetings or similar.
