[empkins-members] Workshop data processing

Dear EmpkinS members,

save the date: By the end of the year, we need to remove the data stored in the EmpkinS DataCloud. We therefore have to make preparations to store the data elsewhere free of charge. To this end, we are organizing a workshop with Marcus Walter (FAU Competence Center Research Data and Information) and Aliya Nauroth-Kreß (Research Data Management, UKER).

The workshop will take place in two parts:

Workshop Part 1 (with Marcus and Aliya):

* Thursday, June 11, 2026, from approx. 9:00
* Theoretical session (90–120 minutes): Marcus and Aliya will provide a step-by-step overview of the data-processing workflow
* Practical session (possibly also in the afternoon): Participants implement the demonstrated steps
Workshop Part 2 (with Anna-Maria and Jan):

* July 2026 (tentatively 9 or 30 July)
* From June 11, everyone is expected to work on their data independently
* Anna-Maria and Jan will address any outstanding questions and issues that have come up in the meantime
