Highly Cited Researchers List 2023 published
The “Highly Cited Researchers List” also lists the 7127 most influential researchers worldwide in 2023. With 336 researchers on the list, Germany is in 4th place.
Prof. Dr. Robert Schober, PI in our EmpkinS project B02, is once again one of the most cited scientists in his field.
The Highly Cited Researchers 2023 list draws on both quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify individuals from around the world who have made a significant and far-reaching impact in their fields of research. Their achievements are evidenced by several papers, often cited by other scientists, that rank in the top 1 percent by citations for research field and year in the Web of Science – a portal that aggregates various citation and literature databases.
The list of the most cited scientists worldwide is compiled annually by the company Clarivate Analytics. The entire list and detailed information on the analysis can be found on the Web of Science website.
