Science Slam: Hightech meets Medicine
In amusing short presentations, known as SLAMS, scientists from various disciplines, from the sub-projects A04, B04, D04, and E, vividly and entertainingly showcased their research. Together, you work on the future of healthcare. You may be wondering: What does the healthcare of tomorrow look like? How will Artificial Intelligence support treatment and diagnosis in the future? And: What challenges do the new digital technologies bring?
The Science Slam was organized by employees of Germany’s most interdisciplinary Collaborative Research Center, “EmpkinS” (FAU Erlangen), in cooperation with the University Hospital Erlangen and the project “PRIMA-AI” (FAU Erlangen, University Hospital Regensburg). Those who were already part of the EmpkinS Science Slam at the E-Werk in February were able to look forward to new faces and research perspectives. If EmpkinS and PRIMA-AI don’t ring a bell, they got an exclusive introduction.
