Eva Maria Hille at University of Vienna

In June, Eva Maria Hille spent a research stay at the University of Vienna at the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Solidarity (CeSCoS) of Prof. Dr. Barbara Prainsack at the renowned Department of Political Science. By exchanging ideas and thoughts in an interdisciplinary setting, Eva shared her ethical background by presenting her PhD thesis on algorithmic biases in health in different settings and participating in different workshops and seminars. She gained valuable and fruitful insights from discussions with colleagues from political science and other disciplines. For the large-scale interview study currently underway in the ethical subproject, Eva has been able to strengthen her methodological knowledge of empirical research.

During her time at the University of Vienna, Eva asked various researchers what they would recommend to female researchers in early career stages. See here what they answered!
